Abstract

The solution for the forecast of incline of the rectangular base on the linear elastic isotropic water-saturated basement under the settlement scheme of a soil layer of a final thickness is shown. It is proved that rate of process of filtration consolidation of the basement is directly proportional to the value of Poisson’s coefficient ratio of the basement, division of the foundation base length to its width and inversely proportional to the soil layer thickness.
