The system of magnetic support (magnetic suspension – MS) using permanent magnets for suspension is under consideration. The permanent magnets are arranged in stepped order. The vertical interaction forces between magnetic systems of the track and the vehicle in dependence on geometrical and physical parameters of the MS are analyzed.
