Abstract

The articie describes results of operational tests of the joints with guaranteed tension of the axle-box of rail rolling stock, the inside surface of inner racers of which was restored by electrolytic galvanizing on pulse-reverse currents operation. A comparative analysis has been performed of the wear of surfaces of immobile joint parts, whose racers have been restored according to the proposed technique with the racers restored on direct current and the unrestored ones.
