Abstract

The existent carrying capacity evaluation method of operational bridge structures (Classification method) was developed in 1930. All the calculations represented there are oriented on hand computation methods and do not take into account some features of the constructions. The article shows a possibility of using direct calculation method of steel span structures on the basis of automated calculations.
