Abstract

The article substantiates introduction into the track structure of rectilinear tongues with various widths and the length of 8,300 mm instead of curved ones with the length of 6,515 mm with the aim of increasing the speed and safety of trains movement on a sideway direction of the set of tracks with the 1,435-mm gauge.
