Abstract

A method of defining the position of relay anchor according to the magnetic resistance of a working air backlash is offered in the article. This method is based on the fact that the value of magnetic resistance of a working backlash does not virtually depend on the current in the relay winding and is basically determined by the size of the backlash itself. The method allows deciding the complex task of automation of measuring the mechanical parameters of electromagnetic relays in railway automatic systems without removal of casing, in accordance with the operational and technical requirements to the first-class reliability relays.
