Abstract

The authors suggest a system of automatic control of braking force at recuperation ofd.c.electric  locomotives, in which the necessary braking effort is generated by the decisive unit, constructed on the basis of a microcontroller, according to the pre-set law, which provides an increase of the volume of recuperative energy in comparison with existing variants. The calculation of transitional processes for the most typical cases of system operation has been provided.
