Abstract

It is proved in a theory that the wear intensity of tribosystem of diesels of the special-purpose self-propelled railway rolling stock at laser modification will diminish at growth of concentration of surplus vacancies in superficial layers. Thus there will be the process of crawling over the vacancies and dislocations in the adjacent superficial layers of diesel tribosystems, i.e. running the processes of self-organization. The latter can be achieved at application of discrete laser modification of working surfaces of diesel tribosystems with carbon as a basic element in the form of carbon dioxide or natural graphite with niobium.
